Two of music’s most acclaimed artists and powerhouse live performers, Rod Stewart and Cyndi Lauper, are coming to Houston for a special co-headlining tour! Two of pop's music great survivors, these superstar performers have reinvented themselves countless times over their long careers - and they never look anything other than fabulous doing it. Having first performed together at 1985's Commitment to Life benefit concert, Rod Stewart and Cyndi Lauper are good friends, and this tour will feature a handful of duets, alongside a solo set each.
From his early days in the rock band The Faces, Rod Stewart has strutted his way through disco, new wave and the American songbook, leaving behind a catalogue of undeniable classics, including 'Maggie May', 'Do You Think I'm Sexy', 'Sailing' and 'You Wear it Well'. Cyndi Lauper burst onto the pop music scene in the 80s with her colorful look and hooky pop tunes like 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun'. Recently her career has taken a new musical theater direction, which saw her pen the score for Broadway blockbuster Kinky Boots, for which she won a Tony Award.
