We’re inviting all little ghouls and goblins to celebrate Halloween at the Houston Zoo with activities that are fun for the entire family. We encourage all kids to come dressed in their spookiest or prettiest Halloween costume, and don’t forget the trick-or-treat bags!
Little ghouls and goblins can pick a child-sized pumpkin to paint into a Halloween jack-o-lantern. (Pumpkins available while supplies last). Overflowing with pumpkins, this is also the perfect spot for photographs! But, what’s Halloween without candy? Candy Corner stations are located around the Zoo, so bring your trick-or-treat bag and your sweet tooth!
Kids can follow the adventures of Zoe the Zookeeper as she helps wildlife officials rescue, rehabilitate and release howler monkeys back into the wild. Kids will learn what howler monkeys eat, what belongs in the Belizean jungle for a healthy habitat and more. Kids will earn a special howler monkey-themed Conservation Hero button for helping Zoe!
With all of these activities and more, we look forward to seeing you there.
If you feel like escaping Riverwalk Apartments in Houston, Texas for the day, this event is a perfect opportunity to do just that!
