Grammy Award winner Steve Tyrell is coming home to Houston for a one-night performance. With nearly five decades in the music business, Tyrell's breakthrough performance of the iconic love song “The Way You Look Tonight” in Father of the Bride and Father of the Bride II introduced the classic pop standards to modern-day audiences.
As an artist, all 7 of his American Standards albums have achieved Top 5 status on Billboard's Jazz charts; and his first album, A New Standard, was among the best-selling jazz albums for over 5 years. He also had the honor of recording a live performance DVD at The Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston Texas.
Now, Tyrell comes to Houston in support of his newest album, A Song for You, which reached No. 1 on Billboard's jazz charts. And even though you may stream his weekly program that airs on weekdays on KKJZ in Los Angeles, you won’t want to miss out on the chance to see him perform live at Stafford Centre on September 14th!
