Visit "Christmases Past" this year at our annual Campfire Christmas event. Start your evening at a with a classic, multi-era holiday meal while the strains of 1930s cowboy music accompany you as you dine. After your hearty Christmas meal, travel back into time to visit a "newly-built" log cabin on Christmas Eve 1825. Let the Joneses serenade you with tales about settling into this new frontier and learn about the early Welsh Christmas traditions of their ancestors.
Then jump in time and visit an 1869 cowboy campfire as the local cowboys pay a visit to the neighboring sharecropper for the evening. Learn about the growing systems of sharecropping and cattle drives while enjoying hot cider and coffee over an open fire.
On your last visit to the past, you will visit the Davis Mansion decked out for a festive family Christmas in 1888. Learn about the changes the family underwent in this critical year and about the special Victorian Christmas traditions.
