The 23rd annual Dancin’ in the Street Motown and More Revue will feature an all-new Stevie Wonder tribute, plus a full weekend of nonstop soul music classic hits. This concert event features the city’s most talented performers and rising stars, covering the hits of Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, Al Green, Rick James, Chaka Khan, Earth, Wind & Fire, EnVouge, Frankie Beverly, and many many more!
The Miller Outdoor Theatre showing of Dancin’ in the Street, presented by Bacement Foundation for the Arts, affectionately coined “The Thrill On The Hill”, has become a 20 year Houston and soul music tradition. As classic soul music continues to reach audiences far and wide, BACE has evolved to a multi-generational company that speaks to generations of music lovers.
This is a ticketed event for the covered seating area. Free tickets are available (4 per person over age 16 while they last) at the Miller Outdoor Theatre box office the day of the performance between the hours of 10:30am-1pm. If tickets remain at 1pm, the box office will re-open one hour before show time to distribute the remaining tickets. As always, open seating on the hill.
